Dr. Chin extends treatment to the Dominican Republic
Dr. Chin recently returned from the Dominican Republic, where he trained several
spine surgeons in minimally invasive facet fusion. Dr. Chin played a role in introducing
concepts and advances in minimally invasive spine surgery to the Dominican Republic
on his visit to Santiago. Surgeons at the Hospital Metropolitano de Santiago are
now excited to offer their patients this surgical procedure that is less expensive
and safer than other traditional methods offered in the past.
Dr. Chin completes training on minimally invasive surgery
using lasers
Selective Endoscopic Discectomy™ (SED™) is a minimally invasive spine
surgery technique that utilizes an endoscope to treat herniated, protruded, extruded,
or degenerative discs that are a contributing factor to leg and back pain. This
procedure combined with the endoscopic system used to perform the unique procedure
is pioneered and developed by Dr Anthony Yeung. Dr. Chin was recently trained on
this minimally invasive technique, which uses lasers.
